Engage through Baptism

Baptism is a wonderful thing! It holds deep spiritual significance in ones coming to faith and commitment to Christ, and at the same time, ties together beautifully the symbolism of Jesus’ death, burial and resurrection.

Romans 6:3-4 says, “Or don’t you know that all of us who were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into his death? We were therefore buried with him through baptism into death in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, we too may live a new life.”

Engage through Membership

We view membership as a practical expression of commitment to being a part of the New Life family. If you’d like to join the membership at New Life, we recommend signing up for the next Discovery class. In Discovery class you’ll learn everything you need to know in order to make an informed and prayerful decision about membership.

Romans 12:5 says, “So in Christ we, though many, form one body, and each member belongs to all the others.”

Engage through Life Group

Life Group is one of the best environments to engage and experience genuine community with others. Life Groups are usually made up of 8 – 12 people and meet on various days, times and locations throughout the city. Each week during Life Group, you’ll be with friends to study God’s word, pray together and simply enjoy spending time together building relationships. The weekly Life Group studies are directly linked to the Sunday morning sermons.

Hebrews 10:24-25 says, “And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, 25 not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching.”

Engage through Ministry

Ministry is simply serving the Lord. Ministry can be anything you do in an effort to serve God and show God’s love to others! There are a number of ministry teams to engage with right here at New Life! There are literally thousands of opportunities to serve the Lord just about everywhere you look.

1st Peter 4:11 says, “If anyone serves, they should do so with the strength God provides, so that in all things God may be praised through Jesus Christ.”

Engage through Giving

One way to honor the Lord is by giving back to Him in tithes and offerings. We offer online giving as a convenient and easy way to give back to God.

Proverbs 3:9 says, “Honor the LORD with your wealth, with the first fruits…”
